Back in 2005, I had no idea that my passion for customizing my MySpace page and serving as my high school's yearbook editor would lead me to a career in web design.
In college, I decided to abandon my initial aspirations in design and journalism for a more "secure" path in healthcare. However, my first significant job as a healthcare professional brought me right back to web design when my boss asked if I would manage our's website.
This opportunity transformed my career, as I began to engage in web design and content, adding valuable skills to my resume and allowing me to market myself as a certified web designer. While designing and managing for government agencies and healthcare facilities provided a solid foundation, it lacked creative freedom.
Launching Brand/ has enabled me to leverage my web design expertise while exercising creative control to pursue my passion—helping women launch or rebrand their businesses.
